The Office for the Aging can provide assistance to seniors and disabled adults who are seeking to gain a better understanding of the Medicare Prescription Drug Program. If requested, we can help an individual choose and enroll in a drug plan that will best meet their needs.
The Office for the Aging also provides support to the Association of Senior Citizens in Franklin County, which employs Adult Center Directors who can bring similar assistance to elderly throughout the county. Appointments for help with prescription drug coverage can be made at any of the 8 Adult Centers. Or for those who are homebound, a worker can come directly to the home and provide assistance there.
For more information, contact Joanne Riccio, Aging Services Coordinator at 518-481-1532, or call one of the Adult Centers listed under the Congregate Meal section in our service listing.
