Documents:
A copy of verifiable transcript for required education and copy of the required license or professional certificate must be submitted with application.
A list of the available Licensed Health Care Professions titles is available in the link above.  All necessary documentation must accompany your application.  For example, if CPR certification is required, a copy of your valid CPR certification must be provided with your application.  A $10 filing fee for each title to which you apply must accompany the application.  Questions may be directed to the Personnel Office.

Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - (Per Diems)

Public Health & Sheriff’s Department

 

The Franklin County Personnel Department will continually accept applications for Per Diem applicants for the Franklin County Public Health & Sheriff’s Departments for the title of Registered Professional Nurse (RN).   

 

Applications will only remain on file for 6 months from date received. 

 

Minimum Qualifications: (Copy of Nursing License must accompany completed application)

1)     Graduation from a school of nursing approved by the State Education Department from a course approved by such department as qualifying for Registered Professional Nurse.

2)     Possession of a license issued by the State of New York to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse at the time of application.

 

In Addition: For Public Health Department – Must possess a valid driver’s license at time of application, maintained throughout employment. (Copy of Driver’s License must accompany completed application)

 

Candidates may apply in person at the Franklin County Personnel Department, 355 West Main Street, Suite 428, Malone, NY 12953 or print an application from www.franklincony.org and mail the completed application with a copy of the required documentation to the address above.  EOE

Continuous Posting: Bus Drivers (Per Diem)

 

Effective March 9, 2017. The Franklin County Personnel Department will continually accept applications for Per Diem applicants for the Franklin County Transportation Department for the title of Bus Driver  Applications will only remain on file for 6 months from date received. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Candidates must possess a valid New York State Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), with Passenger (P) transport endorsement.  (A copy must be submitted with the completed application.)

     

  2. Candidate must be at least 21 years of age at time of application with a driving record acceptable to the employer’s insurance carrier at time of application and throughout employment.

 

Candidates may apply in person at the Franklin County Personnel Department, 355 West Main Street, Suite 428, Malone, NY 12953 or download and mail the completed application with copy of the NYS CDL License to the address above.  EOE
