Departments
Auditor The Auditor's Office provides a deliberate and thorough review of the legal claims for payment presented against The County. The Auditor's Office utilizes the provisions of General Municipal Law S 103 and 104 in addition to Franklin County's Purchase and Travel Policies to conduct this review.
The Auditor then certifies the audit of claims by submitting an abstract of payments to The Franklin County Treasurer authorizing payment to claimants.
Additionally, The Auditor's office prepares an internal monthly billing for each county department or agency that receives communication services, for their proportionate share of the charges paid for by The County.
The Auditor's Office also provides relief and leave time services for The County Switchboard Operator.
