Notice – Draft Environmental Impact Statement NOW AVAILABLE for Proposed Landfill Expansion
The County of Franklin Solid Waste Management Authority
is proposing to expand its existing landfill on County Route 20 in the Towns of
Constable and Westville. The Authority has published a Draft
Environmental Impact Statement (Draft EIS) for the proposed landfill expansion
and is accepting written comments on that Draft EIS until December 1,
2008. Comments on the Draft EIS will also be accepted at a public hearing
that will be held at 7:00 P.M. on November 5, 2008 at the Malone Middle School
Auditorium located at 15 Francis
Street in Malone,
